Get It Now!
So, you bought Season 1, and now you're not sure how to get your eagerly anticipated Sam & Max episodes? Never fear! Here is everything you need to know about downloading and activating your Sam & Max games.

To activate your game, you first need to download it through a super-special download link. These links can be found in a few different places. Let's investigate...
Download the episodes right after you purchase them.
At the end of the checkout process, you should see big green DOWNLOAD buttons for each episode that's available. If you didn't download them at that time (or need to download them again), you can get back to those download links on our Find My Order page.

Get the episodes from our Find My Order page.
Whenever you feel like it, you can visit our Find My Order page and access download links by entering your order number and the password you created during checkout. Easy!

Even better, if you're logged into our site with a telltalegames.com account, you should be able to look up your order on your Past Purchases page, and download your games from there. Awesome!

Feverishly check your email on release day.
When a new episode is released, we'll send you an email with a direct download link. (For episode 5, you should have received this email on April 9.) If you don't remember seeing that email, check your spam folder! For baffling, unknown reasons, our emails are often tagged as spam (especially by Hotmail and Gmail).

Didn't get it? Got it and deleted it by mistake? No problem. Just go to our Find My Order page and follow the instructions to get your very own download links.

None of these apply!
If none of these options work for you, don't despair! Just email our support team. We can help you with all sorts of things - looking up your order number, sending you the password associated with your order, even emailing you a download link if it's the only way for you to get it.
Which episodes are available right now?
If you're a Season Set owner... everything! Episode 1 (Culture Shock), episode 2 (Situation: Comedy), episode 3 (The Mole, The Mob, and The Meatball), episode 4 (Abe Lincoln Must Die!), episode 5 (Reality 2.0), and the season finale, episode 6 (Bright Side of the Moon) are all ready and waiting for Season One owners. (If you buy episodes individually, episode 6 won't be available until May 10th)
I emailed you and you didn't write back. Don't you like me?
Of course we like you! We try very hard to respond to email within a day or two (and often reply even sooner). If it's been a few days and you haven't heard back from us, there's a good chance we didn't get your email, or you didn't get our response. Check your spam folder.

If email just doesn't seem to be working, post in our support forum. Mention that you've already tried to email us, and we'll look into the problem right away.
Can I unlock a demo version of the episode instead of using a download link?
In the past, we've encouraged people to download the demo version of a game and activate it by entering their order number and password. This may work for Season 1 customers in a few freak cases, but it won't work for most of you. In fact, if you try it you'll probably get a cryptic error about something or other being invalid or your activations being used up. Don't let the error bother you. It's not true. Instead, get the game through one of the methods explained here. Email us if you're feeling lost.
Activation isn't working and I don't know why! (Also known as "I'm getting an internet connection error!" or "My gaming computer isn't connected to the internet!")
If you're just not able to download through the download link we've provided, or you're trying to activate on a computer that isn't connected to the internet, downloading the demo version of the game is still an option for you. Just be aware that we'll need to send you an activation key in order for you to activate it. To get one, just click Activation Support on the first game screen and follow the instructions.

Remember, an activation key is ONLY needed if one of the download methods listed above isn't working for you, or if you did download the game with one of these methods but it still won't activate.
Is that it?
That's it! Go get your game and start playing! And if you're having trouble or just need to talk, the (usually) cheerful members of our support team are your friends. Just don't start spamming us with offers for weasels on a stick.
