Cinematographer

Telltale Games is looking for a talented and promising Cinematographer to assist the art team in creating compelling in-engine cutscenes in Telltale’s proprietary tool. The ideal candidate should have a good sense of storytelling, acting and cinematography.
  • Responsibilities
    • Create compelling cutscenes and dialog scenes with excellent pacing, acting, and timing from existing library or new requested animation with Telltale’s proprietary Tools.
    • Work with Designers and Leads to solve gameplay and script issues as they apply to cutscenes.
    • Balance quality with efficiency when working under tight deadlines.
    • Follow and maintain Telltale’s pipelines and technical requirements.
    • Create exciting camera setup for gameplay and storytelling
    • Choreograph actions, camera work, and pacing of cutscenes
    • Generate high quality cutscenes in company's proprietary software
    • Work with designers and art director to establish continuity of the story with gameplay
  • Essential Skills and Experience
    • Good knowledge of cinematography and editing.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, Team player.
    • Knowledge of Maya or similar 3D animation software a plus.
    • Good understanding of animation basics including posing and timing.
    • Self motivated team player.
    • Quick to adapt to company proprietary software.
